Update, one more week for water and then...

After finding out the bad news on the water Friday afternoon I ran out to the house to see what I could find out. Mike was there and gave me the update. A company is coming out Monday to clean the lines one last time. Then, we ould have the tests back by Thursday and the water turned on. I'll believe it when I see it. If this does not work, they are digging us a well. The biggest issue right now is we can't hook up the heating and cooling because the water has to be there to charge the system, which is a geothermal system.

More on that when I find out but the cabinets are going up in the house and the counters have been measured and ordered. All the hardwood is in and the travertine put up in the sunroom. Doors and baseboards are also ready to be put up.

The kitchen. Yes, they are cabinets, I know, very exciting.

Where the kitchen sink and dishwasher will go. That nice empty wall across the room will hold the tv.

The travertine fireplace surround. We wanted to keep the sunroom very "clean and open" so there is no mantle or heavy stone on this side.
